Voices Against Antisemitism

A survey funded by the Special Envoy on Holocaust Remembrance and Combatting Antisemitism in Canada and supported by the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto

We lack good evidence on antisemitism in Ontario’s schools. This survey will rectify that problem. It will first ask you some background questions for statistical purposes. Then it will ask you to report each antisemitic incident experienced by each of your children during the period October 2023 to January 2025 inclusive. We do not define antisemitism. If your child experienced an incident that you regard as antisemitic, please report it.

Participation in the survey is voluntary and completely confidential. For statistical purposes, your answers will be combined with those of other participants in the survey and will remain anonymous. No information or number identifying you will be attached to your responses. You may withdraw from the survey at any time by closing your browser. Your consent to participate in the survey will be indicated by your answering any of the survey questions.

This survey will allow you to report multiple incidents but you will be able to complete this questionnaire only once. That is, return visits to the questionnaire will not be permitted.

This survey is being directed by Robert Brym, FRSC, Emeritus Professor, University of Toronto. For additional information you can email Professor Brym at robert.brym@utoronto.ca.

We begin with the background questions.
